Current NetBox Features and Modules

Comprehensive Firewall - The extensive NetBox firewall is standard across all models, providing a high level of security for your network.

Email Hosting & Gateway - Either host email directly on the NetBox, or let the NetBox work with your existing email server to provide security and protection. This includes Web Mail, so you can view your email while on the road.

Email Virus & Content Scanning - A comprehensive virus and content scanner covering all emails in and out of the network. This also provides the benefits of a Transparent POP3 Proxy and SBR (SMTP Boundary Redirection). This module also includes Spam Control.

Web Content Filtering - Support for real-time web content filtering to provide versatile web content and bandwidth management. This module provides complete and flexible control over the web experience available to users behind the NetBox.

URL Filtering - Support for real-time URL filtering based on the domain name or keywords within the URL. This module provides the ability to permit or deny access to URL's and can be applied conditionally based on the the time of day, IP address of the user accessing the webpage or the user's group (if groups are enabled).

Quota Management - Enable Quota management ensuring enforcement of internet usage via time, data sent or received and total data.

Network Monitoring - Track the use of every user, on any protocol on the internal network.

Email Monitoring - Records a summary of all emails in and out of the network, allowing tracking of sensitive information.

Traffic Shaping - Allows management and allocation of the available bandwidth based on IP, protocol, port, TOS bits, etc.

NetBox VPN - A secure VPN solution to connect two or more networks using the NetBox together over the Internet. The NetBox VPN supports data compression, we are achieving over 50% compression at most client sites. If required, the IPsec version of this module can also be purchased.

Remote Network Access - Access your office from anywhere in the world, securely over the Internet. (This module implements PPTP).

Reporting - The NetBox Reporting module comes standard across the entire product range. The reporting module allows configuration of reports concerning many aspects of the NetBox.

VLAN - The NetBox VLAN module is an optional module which can be used to configure multiple virtual LAN interfaces using 802.1q tagged packets.

Additional LAN Interfaces - Several different networks can utilise the NetBox at once, while not having access to each other.
